			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>First off, we&#8217;re excited to announce that G2IC registration is now FREE thanks to our media sponsor <a href="http://www.siliconprairienews.com">Silicon Prairie News</a>!  So, what are you waiting for?  The competition is only a week away.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve heard from some people who said they wanted to participate, but don&#8217;t have an idea yet.  No worries.  You don&#8217;t need to come with an idea, just an open mind.  We&#8217;ll have public officials and local professionals on hand throughout the weekend to help you tweak your innovation.  You don&#8217;t need to have the technical proficiency to build your application.  You just need to prepare a mock-up or demo for your 5-minute presentation at the end of the weekend.  We&#8217;ll provide the IT support during the internship for the grand prize winner.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Graffiti Tracker Inc. is excited to announce the first ever G2IC: Gov 2.0 Innovation Competition in Omaha Nov. 13 – 15, 2009. Participants will develop a software application to assist government with public safety for a chance to win $1,000 and a paid internship at Graffiti Tracker to further develop the application.</p>
<p>We’re new in town and we want to connect with the up and coming innovators and young talent in our new home. Come out and share your creative energy and passion with other like-minded individuals in Omaha’s vibrant entrepreneurial community.</p>
<p>The Graffiti Tracker office will be open to participants and observers during the course of the competition. Local IT professionals, public officials, entrepreneurs and designers will be stopping by throughout the weekend to answer questions and offer assistance.</p>
<p>We’ll provide a fun and inspirational working environment, food and wireless internet; just bring a laptop and an open mind. Registration is only $10 through Nov. 12, 2009.</p>
